Tommy has spent the week with his Grandparents. Unfortunately my Mom was called for jury duty during this time. My Mom went into detail explaining how she was doing her duty to the country, etc....
When Tommy and her were leaving the pool, he felt it necessary to tell the entire pool with his arms outstretched to demand attention... "I have top leave and may not be here tomorrow, my Grandma has to go to court."
Well done...

Oh the good ones... they just keep coming.
Some recent lovlies....
1.) As we pass a cemetery "Dad, lets go in there and play!" Go in there and do what? "pray... play and pray....". He says play in a high fun voice followed by pray in a very somber voice.
2.) As we are driving home from a weekend trip singing along to the music. "Dad, you have the voice of an angel". Hey, thanks Tommy! Is that a good thing?
"No... no I don't think so."
3.) "Dad when I get older I'll be like you, single." Oh yeah Tommy, do you know what single means? "Yeah, it means no one loves you and you're available for rent". LMFAO!
Grant me strength...

"Oh my gosh, this guy has gotten so fat! Not you Daddy, another fat guy..."
At least he TRIED to be polite about it. :)

The Ab Rocket and Old age...
Moose was full of them tonight...
"When I grow up, I'm going to get the 'Ab Rocket' and look fab so I'll be big and muscular. Then all the girls will love me".
Thanks society... thank you for teaching my child whats important in life.
"First your a baby, then your a kid, then your a human, then a grandparent, then a great grand parent, then you die."
By his definition I'm sure if I'm a human yet. Hmm... makes ya wonder.

To have so many favorites!!!!
"Fat free black cherry yogurt!?! That's my favorite!"
Now don't get me wrong, I know that I'm lucky and appreciate the fact that Moose is into so many different types of things, and so willing to try anything. Heck, I was not that open when I was a kid. I would have been like "Fat free black cherry yogurt?!? Blech!" and ate it anyway. "Mom, you made your rubber chicken again?!?...." wash, rinse repeat. Yet, I digress...
"Daddy, whats that new game your playing?"
"Its called Assassins Creed, Moose, its a grown up game."
"Ass-ins Creed!?! That's my favorite game ever!"
Yeah, sure....

Clothes do not a birthday present make...
Tomorrow Tommy turns six. This is a huge event... why? You would have to ask him, but I'm pretty sure its only because he turns six. Do you have to be six to buy candy cigars, possibly? Monopoly Lotto scratch off tickets? I digress...
Tommy received a birthday package in the mail from his great grandparents today. (lucky kid, because of having great grandparents, no the present). So he's freaking out, bouncing around waiting for the exciting present to be opened. And he says...
"They only sent clothes? Lets play with the packing peanuts!!" And after my quick refusal, he went back to his array of toys on the floor. For the record, the shirts are very nice...
